Welcome to Toronto's Harbourfront Community

GARDENWORLD PARK PROPOSAL

This website presents a guided tour of Toronto's Harbourfront and serves as a meeting place for the Harbourfront Community.

You'll find links to Harbourfront Neighborhood Associations, plus community events and cultural centres across the waterfront. Toronto's Harbourfront presents cultural and tourist attractions like Harbourfront Center and the Powerplant Art Gallery, as well as Ripley's Aquarium and Captain Bob's Escape TO Harbour Cruises.

You can visit the links in this website, or walk around the waterfront for pleasure. You'll find Toronto's Harbourfront is the best of all possible worlds. It's where the land meets the lake, and people come to play.

PUBLIC PARKLAND or ISLAND AIRPORT - Decision 2033

Toronto must make a decision - To let the federal port authority continue to lease 215 acres of island parkland for $1 a year, or should Toronto City Council cancel the Airport Tripartite Agreement in 2033, and transform island airport land into public parkland, so that all of Toronto Island can be used by everyone, as Toronto's Central Park.
